Choose the right vocal split
Lead & Backing Vocals returns aligned Lead Vocals, Backing Vocals, and Instrumental files. The backing file gathers supporting harmonies, doubles, responses, ad-libs, and stacked chorus vocals. Make harmony rehearsal tracks, study the lead vocal, or edit vocal layers separately. Vocals & Instrumental keeps every vocal together instead.
- Choose Lead & Backing for one featured lead plus supporting parts.
- Choose Duet Vocals (Beta) for a duet, medley, or alternating featured lines.
If one split does not fit the recording, try the other vocal separation mode.
Duet Vocals (Beta)
Use this Beta option when a duet, medley, or alternating vocal has two prominent parts. It returns Vocal Part 1, Vocal Part 2, All Vocals, and Instrumental (no vocals) as aligned MP3, Opus, or WAV files.
Vocals may overlap or switch between tracks during unison, effects, or dense harmonies. Each track may contain more than one singer, and the labels do not identify singers by name.
